What’s the approximate cost to run a backyard based rally team in the Midwest? Me and a few friends are thinking about picking up a backwoods beater to make some rallycross/camping weekends this summer.

My SCCA region does rally cross, $45 for non-members, $30 for members.

Stage rally? Factor at least $5-10k starting cost and about $3k per rally. Rallycross, just plop down $50 and send it

Everytime I go to college I get to see some dude that rallies an old renault and a tsuru, has the same stamp that the video Dusty posted had... It must be an amateur league or something... guy also has a old ford ranger as the support car... can’t say about cost but I doubt it’s too much more than autocrossing
I guess the only mistake was getting the damned ford rather than a beautiful RamCharger!
